Agriculture Trenching Equipment
TrenchWorks helps farmers and contractors improve land performance with trenching equipment purpose-built for drainage and irrigation installation across every soil type New Zealand can offer.

Typical Applications
Reliable drainage and irrigation trenching for New Zealand farms.
- Farm drainage
- Irrigation
- Land improvement
Things Worth Considering
- Tractor horsepower and PTO configuration already on farm
- Depth and spacing set by the farm's drainage plan
- Soil type — clay behaves differently under the chain than lighter ground
- Run length across open paddock ground

Agriculture Applications
Dedicated guidance for the specific trenching jobs most common in this industry.
Drainage Trenching
Drainage trenching covers everything from stormwater and subsoil drainage on a civil site to general land drainage where water needs a controlled path away from a structure, road or paddock. The common thread is a trench that holds a consistent fall and depth so the pipe or drainage coil actually works once it's backfilled.
Irrigation Trenching
Irrigation trenching is about cutting a clean, consistent trench for a farm irrigation main or lateral, run across open paddocks with a tractor that's already on the farm. Runs can be long and continuous, and the practical constraint is usually tractor horsepower and PTO capability rather than site access.
Agricultural Trenching
Agricultural drainage is about land performance over the long term — moving water off wet paddocks efficiently so pasture, cropping or stock performance improves, without over-capitalising in a dedicated self-propelled machine that sits idle most of the year.
